The "Scene Intelligent Auto" full-auto mode, which allows even camera beginners to easily shoot in appropriate scenes, has been further enhanced.
It now features "Advanced A+", which enables richer photographic expression even in difficult scenes like backlighting and nightscapes, simply by letting the camera do the work.
It also newly includes "Creative Bracket," which automatically records three images with different brightness and color tones in a single shot, allowing you to enjoy various creative image renderings.
■Convenient video shooting functions supporting diverse needs such as vlogs
Achieves high-quality 4K video recording with 6K oversampling without cropping.
Furthermore, it includes convenient video shooting functions that support diverse needs, such as "Review Video" for comfortably shooting review videos introducing product features, and "Image Stabilization Video" for correcting camera shake during handheld shooting, enabling more natural vlog shooting.
■Small and lightweight body with extensive connectivity and expandability
Achieving high image quality and performance, it is the smallest and lightest EOS R series camera, measuring approximately 116.3mm (width) x 85.5mm (height) x 68.8mm (depth) and weighing approximately 375g (black) / 376g (white).
It features a shooting mode guide that explains various functions with easy-to-understand visuals, and a touch panel for intuitive operation and settings.
It can connect to mobile devices such as smartphones via Wi-Fi/BluetoothR *1. It also supports wired connection to mobile devices via the digital terminal (USB) *2.
*1 Compatible with Bluetooth Low Energy technology. Bluetooth functionality requires a connected device with iOS/AndroidTM: Bluetooth 4.0 or higher, but some models may not be able to connect via Bluetooth.
Even if Bluetooth connection is not possible, image transfer and remote control are possible via Wi-Fi connection with the device. Please note that the camera and mobile device must be paired in advance. Installation of the dedicated Canon application "Camera Connect" is required.
*2 A separate cable is required for USB communication. For wired transfer to iPhone, a communication-compatible cable is required.
